The shocking incident reportedly unfolded between 9.30am and 10am, causing panic among students and staff as witnesses scrambled to safety.

Authorities have since detained the teenager, while the injured victim remains hospitalised in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing, and police have yet to establish a motive for the attack.

Students Flee As Suspect Allegedly Enters School Armed With Knife

Videos circulating on social media showed students running through the school compound as an individual believed to be the attacker walked around carrying a knife.

Witnesses claimed the suspect entered the school through the main entrance before the incident took place.

The teenager was reportedly dressed in a black shirt, black cap and red-checkered trousers at the time.

According to local reports, a teacher managed to intervene and calm the girl near the school’s prayer room before police arrived. She was subsequently taken into custody without further incident.

Victim Suffers Multiple Injuries But Remains Conscious

The victim’s father, 43-year-old Mohd Firuz Ibrahim, said he was at work when he noticed several missed calls from his daughter’s teacher.

Initially believing his daughter may have been unwell, he was stunned to learn she had allegedly been stabbed at school.

When he arrived at the hospital, doctors informed him that his daughter had sustained numerous injuries, including damage to her left lung.

Medical staff worked to remove blood that had accumulated in the lung following the attack.

The teenager reportedly suffered 14 stab wounds, most of them to her back, while additional injuries were found on her face and head.

Despite the severity of her injuries, the girl remained conscious and was able to communicate with family members.

Victim And Suspect Were Previously Classmates

According to the victim’s father, the two girls had attended classes together in 2025.

However, he said his daughter had never mentioned any disputes, bullying incidents or problems involving the alleged attacker.

He also expressed uncertainty over whether his daughter was the intended target, suggesting she may have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The victim, who has studied at the school for the past three years, is the second of his three children.

Authorities Investigating Motive Behind Attack

Reports indicate that the suspect had reportedly been absent from school for several months and was undergoing medical treatment prior to the incident.

The Selangor State Education Department has since worked with authorities to address the aftermath of the attack.

Counsellors have also been deployed to provide emotional and psychological support to students and staff affected by the incident.
