The Singapore Police Force is appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into an incident that took place at Compass One shopping mall in Sengkang.
In a public appeal released on July 13, the Sengkang Neighbourhood Police Centre said the incident occurred at Compass One on May 28 at about 3.32pm.
Authorities have not disclosed the nature of the incident or provided further details regarding the ongoing investigation.
A photograph of the man was released as part of the appeal, with police urging members of the public to come forward if they recognise him or have any information that could assist investigators.
Police Appeal For Information
According to the police, the man is being sought to assist with investigations and is not necessarily a suspect in the case.
Anyone with information regarding the man’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000. Information can also be submitted online through the i-Witness portal on the Singapore Police Force website.
Police said that all information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Public Urged To Come Forward
The appeal comes more than a month after the incident was reported at the popular Sengkang shopping mall.
As investigations continue, police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the man shown in the released image.
Members of the public who may have been at Compass One during the afternoon of May 28 and have relevant information are encouraged to contact the authorities.
The police have not announced whether any arrests have been made or if additional persons are being sought in connection with the case.
