“I know someone who has been jobless for 4 years and as a result resorts to a $8/hr manual job.
As someone who has a full time career, I feel bad for my friend. I have seen him try really hard, lowering his standard month after month.
So please….stop saying that he is not trying hard enough. Many times, we assume the jobless are simply not putting in enough effort or their standards are too high.
Is that always the case?
No one can deny that there are people who get jobs without even trying. We as humans, for centuries are taught that all results are brought about by hard work.
Is that really??
Do you really thing you can beat all circumstances? People dont seem to understand how many things can go wrong.
Lets you wanna meet you friends for dinner. Do you know how many things can go wrong?
1. Last min stay back OT
2. Traffic jam
3. All places are full
4. Traffic accident
5. Unexpected family
problems
Etc
I know it sounds funny to some of you but seriously…we are all guilty of taking the little “lucks” for granted.
So…stop accusing others of lack of effort or being too demanding just because they could achieve what (seemingly) “little things” that you achieved. Maybe it really is down to luck. Maybe there is something bigger waiting for him/her/you.”
