The operation comes amid continued police enforcement efforts around Geylang and other areas where massage establishments operate. Authorities have regularly conducted checks and raids as part of measures aimed at tackling suspected vice-related activities.

Previous Geylang raid also resulted in arrests

In another operation conducted on 29 June, officers from Geylang NPC and the Bedok Police Division’s Crime Control Unit carried out enforcement action along Geylang Road.

Three women were arrested during that operation for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities. Police also seized cash and other items believed to be connected to the suspected offences.

The latest raid highlights that massage parlours and similar establishments remain subject to police checks where there are concerns over potential unlawful activities.

Police warn landlords and property owners

Geylang NPC said enforcement operations of this nature are carried out regularly, with the aim of deterring vice-related activities and helping to maintain the safety and security of the surrounding community.
