Singaporean Man, 24, Charged After Allegedly Filming 410 Men in Public Toilets Over 10 Months
A 24-year-old Singaporean man has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly recording hundreds of men in public toilets over a period of about 10 months.
Gary Teo Yong Jie faces two counts of voyeurism involving alleged recordings of male victims in separate incidents spanning 2023 and 2025.
According to the charges, Teo allegedly filmed 410 male victims between February 24 and December 23, 2025.
The alleged offences took place over approximately 10 months, with the chargesheets stating that he recorded 369 videos involving the 410 victims.
Alleged Recording Incident Dates Back To 2023
Apart from the alleged recordings in 2025, Teo is also accused of filming another man using a urinal on May 26, 2023.
The alleged incident took place more than two years before the series of recordings in 2025.
The charges involve two counts of voyeurism, with the alleged victims identified as male.
Man Charged In Court, Next Hearing In November
Teo was charged in court on October 30, 2026, but did not enter a plea.
His next court hearing is scheduled for November 27.
If convicted of voyeurism, he could face imprisonment of up to two years, a fine, caning, or any combination of these punishments for each charge.
The case serves as a reminder that secretly recording individuals in private or sensitive settings can carry serious criminal consequences under Singapore law.
