Came across this cat at Tampines Industrial Park A. This poor kitty face (and her butt) was drawn on using marker and it was so saddening and frustrating at the same time to see this! This is clearly an example of animal abuse! Whoever did this ought to be punished!
We have tried to remove the ink from its face but as you can see from the video, it’s difficult to get it off. Although we wanted to but we were in no condition to take the cat home unfortunately. The cat was so well-behaved and sweet but yet, there is someone here who took advantage of this cat’s soft character.
This has to stop! It doesn’t matter if you love cats or not, but to ridicule it to this extent is unacceptable!
**Edit: Hi all! I’m overwhelmed by the tremendous care and concern over the condition of this cat. The cat seems to be a resident cat as she is familiar with that area. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take this cat home and had to leave her there, and we couldn’t shower her due to limitation of facilities and also wouldn’t want to stress the cat further. If anyone is interested, the cat was found to be at Blk 9005 Tampines Industrial Park A (behind Tampines Safra). Please do update this thread if you have found the cat and taken her in under your care. Let’s all hope there will be less animal cruelty in this world.
