I flew Singapore-Kuching on Aug 7 2018 on AK1776, booking ref # KRGIXN, for a fishing trip from Aug 7-10. Upon arrival at the Kuching airport„ my check in luggage was missing.
I immediately reported the loss to the Lost & Found Asia Asia counter and was attended to by Mr Mohamed Rahiman Bin Hasli. The report ID is. BAHKCH18A00643. In my brand new luggage which I specifically bought for this trip, was my fishing reels, gears, medication and clothings. On Aug 11, before my departure
I approached the Lost & Found Counter to check if my missing luggage has been located. But they did not find my luggage. I was then advised to check with the Lost & Found office Sin Sats 2 at Terminal 4 in Singapore upon return. I checked with them upon arrival but they advised that they have checked and do not have it too.
Please note that we bought the Air Asia travel insurance.. Please advise how do I proceed with the claim as there is no clear procedure given. This has been a very disappointing experience and my whole fishing trip was affected. I lost all my expensive reels and gears.
Dear Tony, 13 of us fishing buddies flew together from Singapore-Kuching on the 7th August 2018 AK1776 booking ref: KRGIXN. Upon arrival at Kuching, one of my fishing buddies luggage was missing. He is deeply traumatized as inside his luggage are his expensive reels and others important items like his medications for his hypertension.
We reported and was desperately asking and searching around. We as a group feels for him on his loss and disappointment! No monetary compensation will actually compensate for his loss as it spoiled his whole fishing trip. We traveled often yearly (at least twice or more a year for our fishing adventure) as a group of 13 to 14 fishing buddies, this incident delayed our trip and also caused a lot of inconvenience to my dear buddy and our moods too.
