According to Singapore Police Media, a raid was conducted and several women were arrested.
The Police have arrested eleven women, aged between 27 and 44, in an enforcement operation against massage establishments along South Bridge Road on 10 October 2018.Â
During the enforcement operation conducted by Central Police Division, one unlicensed massage establishment was detected. Eleven women were arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and the Women’s Charter.
Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Massage Establishment Act. The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against criminal activities and those found engaging in such activities will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
