Hi all, if you have friends living in the Pasir Ris area, my neighbour just shared this video clip with me. Apparently, due to the removal of the forest area at Pasir Ris Dr. 12 …for the Condo development and the Overseas School…..these hornbills’ habitat must have been affected.
Being homeless, they have decided to make the empty Siglap Secondary School their home. 15 of them, according to my neighbour . They usually hangout in the morning at the tree near the bus stop at Drive 10. But they are not dangerous altho they fly by quite closely.

Those with pet birds, please do not hang your birds outside unattended….just in case these hornbills decide to turn carnivorous!
Being and animal lover, I do feel so sorry for God’s beautiful creatures when…..their habitat has been destroyed….. Wish that some authority could help them! Then they would have to resort in entering the human domain! Just my own views. 😞😞
