According to a post by MFA Consular, they are currently appealing for the next of kin information of a Singaporean who passed away overseas.

The deceased is a 50-year-old Singaporean, Steven Chan Kong Kai. DOB: 15/04/1969 passed away in Dongguan China on the 29 November 2019. This information was released hoping to find the next of kin.
The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs has put it on on Twitter to appeal for information
