Kurt Tay is a local internet celebrity that gone famous after a newspaper featuring him has gone viral. He is a big fan of wrestling and is often seen with his WWE/WWF title belts.
Recently he was pranked by someone pretending to be a Mediacorp producer, the perpetrator arranged an interview with him at Mediacorp but turned out to be a fake.
Prankster gave Steven Lim’s Number
The perpetrator told him that he will provide him with another handphone number of staff at Mediacorp with the name of “Michelle” to arrange for his “interview”, but turns out the number belongs to another internet celebrity Steven Lim.
Shortly, after Kurt uploaded the screenshots of the man the Whatsapp messages with the phone number, the prankster got prank with over 100 prank calls.
Kurt Tay then reported the incident to the Police.
Kurt even posted the Police report he made online. But it did not take long for the prankster to get scared and text Kurt for forgiveness. He even said that he will pay Kurt Tay for the Taxi trip and even compensate him for his unpaid leave.
The perpetrator even told Kurt Tay that he has a baby,
