MAN ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SETTING BIKE ON FIRE AT BEDOK NORTH

According to a Police media release, a 55-year-old man has been arrested following the incidents of a motorbike that was burned to a crisp. The police arrested the man under the grounds of suspicion of mischief by fire.

The incident happened on the early morning of Christmas day, the police were alerted of the incident at around 4.30 AM .

Thankfully no one was injured.

Police from Bedok Division were able to identify the suspect through ground enquiries and Police CCTV and he was arrested yesterday (29 Dec 2019).

The man will be charged today with mischief by fire.

If convicted, he will looking at up to 7 years jail and/or fine.
