DENGUE FEVER CASES EXCEED 4000, CASES DOUBLED AS PER SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR

Since the beginning of this year, there have been more than 4,000 cases of dengue fever.

Which has doubled compared with the same period last year.

As a result, the National Environment Agency has decided to start an annual campaign to prevent dengue fever from now until May.

Authorities said that they will step up efforts to combat dengue fever, including through home visits by volunteers, to raise residents’ awareness of mosquito prevention.

It is important to take immediate action to reduce the risk of increased infections. 

In some of the larger case concentration areas, the Environment Agency found that even though the authorities continued to issue warnings to residents.
