TWO SINGAPORE POLICE OFFICERS TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

According to the Ministry of Health, the first Police officer was tested positive on the 26 March 2020 and the second officer was tested positive on the 27 March.

They are cases 709 and case 731.

709 went to a doctor on 23rd March for fever but he was only given one day MC by the doctor. On 24th March he went back to his workplace and joined his unit for training. He later left in the afternoon after he stated that he was feeling unwell.

On the 26 March, he went to a Polyclinic and he currently warded at National Centre for Infectious Diseases.

Case 731

Went to a doctor on the 21st of March and was given Medical leave till 24th of March. He went to another clinic and was given another 3 days of MC.

His fever did not go down and he went to Changi General Hospital and tested positive for the coronavirus and warded there.

He last went to work on the 20th March 2020.
