
According to the latest media release, a Bus captain that is working with SMRT is one of the latest cases found infected with the coronavirus.
The bus captain last went to work on the 27th of March and drove bus service 972.
On 28th of March he did not went to work, but on 29 of March he was unwell and visited a doctor and again on the 31st of March. He was send to the hospital via ambulance and tested positive on 31st of March.
Contact tracing is currently ongoing and vehicles that came in contact with the infected bus captain has been disinfected.
President of SMRT said:

We would like to assure commuters that all necessary precautions are being taken to safeguard the well-being of our commuters and staff. SMRT has stepped up its cleaning of high commuter touchpoints in our premises, facilities and vehicles since late January.”
