A photo that is circulating on Whatsapp claimed that a man was caught sending his friend home with his vehicle by the authorities. Apparently, roadblocks have been placed on parts of the island to stop people who are not residing together from travelling in groups.

A photo of the fine ticket was taken, and circulating in Whatsapp.

It is unclear how true is this, but it is better to stay safe than sorry and paying $300 in fine.

The photo captioned:

CAUTION
“HI GUYS , IT’S REALLY VERY SERIOUS & ONE OF MY FRIEND GOTTEN IT .
HE WAS FINED $300 TODAY FOR SENDING HIS FRIEND HOME. THEY WERE STOPPED BY A ROAD BLOCK AND THE OFFICERS CHECKED
BOTH THEIR ICS WHICH APPARENTLY DIDN’T MATCH WITHIN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD. THE 2ND OFFENSE WILL BE $1,000 . “
