GO BUY BUBBLE TEA, BUMP INTO FRIEND AND CHAT FINE $300

The man went out to buy bubble tea, met a friend to chat, and was fined S$300 for failing to maintain a safe distance.

The incident occurred yesterday (April 12), outside a bubble tea shop in Tiong Bahru.

He said that he went out and packed bubble tea for his family yesterday. When the shop was still preparing the bubble tea, he bumps into a friend and they chatted, but they did not maintain a safe distance when chatting.

“The inspector suddenly appeared, asked us for information, issued a ticket, and then checked our ID card. There were many people waiting at the scene at that time, everyone was watching us, we quickly gave the information and left.”

He said that his friend also received a ticket, which stated that he must pay a fine $300. He said that because he did not maintain a safe distance, he was punished.
