Earlier today, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong talks about a tighter measure to reduce the spread of the Virus in Singapore.
The circuit breaker will be extended by 1 month to the 1st of June 2020.
Tighter measures such as reducing certain work to ensure only that the most essential services are operating. He mentioned examples such as reducing the frequency of grass cutting.
He also said that many will be disappointed but this is a step Singapore must take to combat the Coronavirus.
Earlier in the speech he emphasised that Foreign workers will be well taken of.

In a press conference, Gan Kim Yong (Multi Ministry Task Force): “it is critical for all of us to put in the effort to combat the virus during the circuit breaker.”
