SINGAPORE HAS 657 NEWS CASES OF COVID-19, TOTAL CASES IN AT 18,205

Singapore (May 3) added 657 cases of COVID-19 today, with a total of 18,205 cases.

According to preliminary statistics from the Ministry of Health, as of noon today, most of the new cases were holders of work permits living in the dormitory. 

Ten cases are local citizens or permanent residents, most of them are linked cases

The Ministry of Health pointed out that the number of confirmed workers has fluctuated continuously in recent days because a laboratory is clearing the backlog of cases, and the authorities will cooperate with the laboratory to operate stably.

The Ministry of Health will disclose more details of the new case in a statement tonight.
