According to a media release, National Development Minister Lawrence Wong said that dining-in and entertainment outlets won’t be resume immediately after Circuit Breaker.
Entertainment outlets such as the following
- Pubs
- Clubs
- Cinemas
- KTV
- Events that attract crowds
Here is what Minister Wong Said:
“These safeguards Must Be in place before we can allow workplaces to be open and allow more people to the resume going to work
when we do so we will start industries that are critical to the economy and to local employment and that keep us connected to the world and Global Supply chains. Some sectors have to wait for a bit more time, For example, entertainment Outlet or activities that attract crowds people or close contact with one another.
I don’t think we can restart these activities anytime soon. Likewise, it will take some time to allow dining in the outlet, I can I understand your family members and friends but we would have to assess the risk and consider this very carefully considering that picture for transmission “
