My brother was expecting some delivery so he click on the link and was directed to this FAKE singpost website which look almost exactly like the real singpost website except for the URL which he didnt even look at. So the website ask him to pay $3 shipping fee which he did key in his POSB card details and the OTP as well.

He then check his bank account balance and saw a $96 deduction. Thats when he realise its a scam.

He called the bank to block his card and hoping for the bank to reverse the payment but the bank said they cannot reverse it because he did key in the OTP hence its not an unauthorised transaction, however they will investigate if its a fraud. Im not sure how long it will take or will he ever get back his few days hard earn $96.

So please. Please keep reminding everyone especially our parents and younger siblings to not give out any personal information and card details to unknown source.
