According to Xinming Daily news, an incident happened at Jurong West last night (18 May 2020) involving two men, with one of them spotted carrying a blade and chasing after a middle-aged man.
A witness said that the incident happened in the HDB areas along Jurong West Street 61 at around 10 PM, he spotted one of the two men carrying a 10cm knife and another man running away. Other bystanders were afraid when they saw the pair with the weapon.
The witness also shared with Xinming Daily News that the middle-aged man that was escaping from the two attackers was panicking and running for his life.
He stated only one person was holding a 10cm knife, while the other was wearing sportswear. They gave chase towards the direction of the middle-aged man but the middle age man managed to escape.
When the attacker saw many people staring at them, the attacker then concealed the weapon.
The police are currently investigating the case.
