One person was hospitalized and 40 were evacuated when a circuit breaker caught fire at a HDB block at Clementi on Tuesday night (May 19).

The fire happened at the ninth storey of 441B Clementi Ave 3 according to the Civil Defence Force.
SCF was alerted at approximately 9.35pm and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. The flames were put out with two compressed air foam backpacks and an extinguisher.
