
Three men were arrested for assaulting a 20-year-old man with dangerous weapons. One of them is only 16 years old. They will be charged in court today (May 30).
According to a report by the Singapore Police Force this morning (30th), the police received a notification on May 27 that the victim was attacked at the void deck at Block 106 HDB flat in Toa Payoh.
He was conscious after the assault and he was found covered in injuries, Paramedics send him Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment. Media reports did not specify the weapon used in the assault.
Police officers later launched an investigation and successfully identified all three suspects, and arrested the suspects on May 28 and 29. The three suspects were between 16 and 21 years old, and preliminary investigations revealed that they knew the victim.
If the three suspects are convicted of deliberately causing hurt with dangerous weapons, they would be imprisoned for up to 7 years along with a fine and/or rotan.
