
COVID-19: 1 Jun update
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has decreased, from an average of 7 cases per day in the week before to an average of 3 per day in the past week.
The number of unlinked cases in the community has remained stable at an average of 2 per day in the past two weeks. MOH will continue to closely monitor these numbers, as well as the cases detected through our surveillance programme.

A 51-year-old male Chinese national has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 31 May 2020.
He was diagnosed with lymphoma complicated by multi-organ failure while he had been warded in ICU in end-April.
He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 1 May. The National University Hospital has reached out to his family and is extending assistance to them.
