
According to a media release, a 19-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a series of sexual service fraud.
According to the Singapore Police Force, they had received a report from the victim on the 29 May 2020. The victim state that he has been cheated after reacting to an online advertisement promoting sexual service from a prostitute. The victim claimed that the prostitute went missing after payment was made.
After investigation, the police managed to identified the scammer and put him under arrest. According to the police, the accuse has been engaging in similar sex scam since May last year. At least 3 men were scammed involving a total of $360.
According to the law, anyone convicted for cheating will face a jail term up to 10 years and fine.
