According to a media release a 22-year-old man was found dead at Lower Peirce Reservoir. His body was found in the reservoir. The incident happened at 7.50 am today, the police were alerted after some personal belonging and a pair of slipper was found at a bridge. The corpse was later retrieved by the SCDF upon their arrival.

According to a passerby, 4 police car and 2 SCDF vehicles were spotted on the scene and passersbys were told not to go near the scene. SCDF divers were activated to search for the body. The body was found after a few hours of searching by the SCDF.
