RAFFLES INSTITUTION STUDENTS FILMED FLUSHING S$50 DOWN THE TOILET

A video of a student from Raffles Institution flushing money down the toilet is circulating on social media. The video started off with one student throwing money off the school building. The same student was seen throwing a S$50 dollars note in the toilet bowl and flushing it down. The caption on the video even refers to the money as their toilet paper.

This is their parent’s hard-earned money and they see it as a joke. What they are doing here is a total disgrace to themselves and the school as well.

If they think that they are so rich, why don’t put this money to better use like donating out to the people in needs?

According to the law, it is illegal to “mutilate, destroy or deface” Singapore currency, including painting, engraving or cutting into coins. Anyone convicted could face a fine yp to $2000.
