According to a media release, 2 youth were arrested for their suspected involvement of voluntarily causing hurt to others.
The incident happened on the early morning of 29 Jun 2020 between 2 AM to 4.40 AM at Block 314 Yishun Ring Road. The police were alerted after the victim was found unconscious at the staircase between the 6th an 7th floor of the HDB flat and bloodstains were spotted on the staircase where the incident happened.
The victim was sent to the hospital in a coma after the assault and his face was fractured after the attack.
After investigation, the police managed to identify the identity of the 2 suspects and arrested them within 10 hours after the incident. The 2 suspects were charged in court with voluntarily causing hurt to others on the 01 Jul 2020.
The case is adjourned to the 12 Aug 2020.
