A Singaporean woman took to Facebook to voice her embarrassment with going out with her date who was average looking Singaporean guy and does not wear luxury clothing.
This was what she stated in her post.
I had a fling with this guy that I met in a club. I have to say that he wasn’t the best looking kind of guy. He was rather average looking and had tanned skin and rather small eyes, unlike how the people now likes fairer skin and huge plastic surgery eyes like those oppas. But how he took care of me in the club made me feel safe. I guess that’s where it all started.
We hang out often soon after and low key flirted with each other. Then I started getting worried about how others would think of us when they see us together.Like I said, he wasn’t the good looking kind of guy and look like the average Singaporean kinda guy. Wasn’t into those streetwear or luxury clothing either. And I wouldn’t say that I look bad. I honestly think I look above average. I know how to dress up too. People also say that I look like Rosé from BP on my tiktok. I know that looks don’t matter especially in the long run. But my ex honestly looks better than he does but treats me like an item and was super possessive which annoys me. I’m afraid that when my ex sees me with him together then he’ll scoff which is obviously not what I want lol. I want to show that I’m living my best life and that my bf is better than u x1000000.
In short, what I wanna know is, does people still judge a couple when one is good looking while the other isn’t? Cause I’m actually willing to give it a try as I do have feelings for him. I’m only afraid of the judgemental people.
