Earlier today (July 6), a 95 year old woman was found dead in a residential unit alone Recreation Road.

A 34 year old female suspect has since been arrested for murder.
The police were alerted to a case of stabbing at around 1.50pm and when they arrived, the victim was found lying motionless and pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
The police said: “Preliminary investigations revealed that both the victim and the suspect are known to each other. The suspect, a 34-year-old woman, has been arrested in relation to the case and will be charged in court on July 8.”
The case has been classified as murder.
