Amos Yee Back In Court For Insulting the Muslims And Christians

High school blogger Amos Yee was back in court on Wednesday (Aug 17) morning.

Yee, 17, confronts six charges of aiming to wound the sentiments of Muslims or Christians – by means of five recordings and a photograph – and two tallies of neglecting to answer to the Jurong Police Division for examinations.

The charged offenses were conferred between November a year ago and May this year.

The most extreme discipline for purposely injuring the religious sentiments of any individual is three years’ prison and a fine; and for neglecting to present oneself compliant with a notification or request from an open hireling is one month’s correctional facility and a $1,500 fine.
