Indonesian maid, Guyanti Wulandari, 28 was jailed for four weeks after pleading guilty to throwing her employer’s dog down from the third storey balcony.

The dog named Dou Dou landed on the ground floor before bleeding from its mouth. Her employer, Mr Hui, took the dog to the vet when the maid alerted him. The dog was found to have suffered multiple injuries and had to be put to sleep.
The reason the maid threw the dog off the third storey was that she was annoyed that her employer’s pets were noisy.
