Full Story Here:

“Went online shopping for a baking mixer machine and came across a popular one selling at $350 with no delivery fee. Contacted the seller through Whatsapp and an additional discount was given and I was told to pay $300 via direct transfer.

Was worried that it could be a scam, the seller told me to pay a deposit of $200 instead and even send me a photo of an NRIC to make me feel safe. Come to think of it, the NRIC must be someone else’s. Anyway, I transferred the $200 and was given another contact number to discuss the delivery.

However, I was required to make the remaining payment due to a “miscommunication” I transferred $100 to another bank account only to be told that more money is needed for the delivery. Only then I realised that it was a scam and asked for a refund by I was blocked by both numbers.”
