APPLE STORE ORCHARD AMONG NEW PLACES VISITED BY COVID-19 PATIENTS

On 15 Jul 2020, the Ministry of Health has confirmed an additional of 249 new cases of COVID-19 infection. This brings the total of infection cases in Singapore to 46,878.

5 new locations have also been added to the list of places visited by confirmed COVID-19 patients.

These Locations are:

  • Tat Fong Paint Pte Ltd on 01 Jul 2020 (9.30 AM – 10.10 AM)
  • Cheng Chew Wah Agency, 20 Frankel Terrace on 01 Jul 2020 (5.10 PM – 5.50 PM)
  • All India Supermarket on 05 Jul 2020 (11.25 AM – 12 PM )
  • Tekka Centre on 05 Jul 2020 (12 PM – 12.30 PM)
  • Apple Orchard Rd on 10 Jul 2020 (3.50 PM – 4.20 PM)

According to the Ministry of Health, those identified as close contact has been notified.

Precautionary measure:

“Persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit,” it said.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.”
