Former actor who used to work for Mediacorp Huang Yi Lang has claimed trial of assaulting his Bangladeshi employee. He allegedly scratched his employee, Jahidul, twice on the abdomen and hitting him on the head with a metal scraper.

The incident happened at the Singapore Islamic Hub at 4.20pm on 11 December 2018. A separate charge of fighting in public will be taken into consideration as well.
Huang stated that the victim, Jahidul, treated him like a father and allowed him to be violent towards him. Huang goes on to state that Jahidul was trying to frame him by exaggerating the pain.
