In a Facebook video release, the Singapore Police Force have unveiled their new wheels of choice with added technological advancements.

The new police fast-response cars now come with an external mounted light smack right on top of the car, providing additional illumination during operations. Because why fight crime in the darkness like Batman when you have the power of illumination?

The new car also comes with a set of blinkers, a light bar, a siren as well as a rumbler; it was designed to “strike an imposing presence”, warning others of its approach. (somewhere in Gotham, Batman weeps with jealousy)

The new seats are designed with the heavy belt-equipment of officers in mind; with the ergonomic cut-out seats being removable to allow them to enter and exit the car easily.

The front row seats, at the front of the driver’s seat, boast a Integrated Vehicular Dashboard (IVD) that allows for seamless control of the car’s technological features.

The car boot is RFID-enabled, automatically detecting police equipment so that officers don’t need to manually inspect it.

The new police-car also boasts an In-Vehicle Video Recording System (IVVRS) which provides 360 degree video coverage which can be livestreamed to the nerve centre of the police force, the Police Operations Command Centre.

The new car also has the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), which allows them to identify vehicles (irregardless if their stationary or moving) of interest much faster.

Maybe you’ll be lucky to see one of them speeding past traffic soon, but let’s hope it’s not chasing after you.
