
According to the media release, 6 Singaporean men and 4 Thai women were charged yesterday (04 Aug) after they have gathered at Golden Mile Tower to drink during phase 1 of re-opening.

  The gathering happened on 11 June 2020 at a unit located in Block 6001 Golden Mile Tower between 3 PM to 11 PM. During phase 1 of re-opening, gathering between members from different household is prohibited.
All 10 suspects were charged with 2 counts of COVID-19 regulation under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) Act.
The 6 men were:
- Peter Ngin, 52,
 - Ho Hua Heng, 51,
 - Kwok Kian Ghin, 57,
 - Lek Guan Heng, 56,
 - Rainven Tan Choon Chye, 50,
 - Loo Jiale, 32.
 
The four women are:
- Ketthim Supatsara, 24,
 - Bunkhan Supapron, 33,
 - Khamsam Wararat,30,
 - Ob-un Wanwisa, 30.
 
The 10 of them were set to plead guilty to the charges on 28 Aug 2020. If convicted, each of them will face a jail term up to 6 months, fined up to $10,000 or both.
