2 men aged between 30 and 33 were arrested for their suspected involvement of loansharks harassment activities.

The police were alerted on the 19 of August 2020 at around 6.20 am about a case of loanshark harassment that happened to 2 HDB units that are located along Pasir Ris Drive 10. Both the units were splashed with paint with a debtor’s note left behind.
After investigations, the police were able to identify the 2 men and arrested them on the same day. In the process, 1 mobile phone and a marker were seized by the police during their arrest.
Both men were charged in court on the 21 of August 2020, if convicted they will face a jailed term up to 5 years with 6 strokes of the cane, fined up to $50,000.
