A Facebook user has shared his encounter being a busybody after taking the initiative to post videos to remind all domestic worker to observe safe distancing measures while they are out with friends.
He then shared a few screenshots of a conversation as proof that there are domestic workers being fined for breaching the safe distancing measures.
In his post:
“Good sunny afternoon suntanning beside the pool sipping ice lemon tea now. When I post videos of others breaking the CB rules, showing them gathering in groups more than 5, dancing away without face masks and enjoying themselves away, members bashed me for being a busy body and told me to mind my own business. My main intention is to remind all not to break the rules and be fined $300 which could be a half a month of your salary. For those who appreciated my concern, I thank you. For those who still proceed to break the rules, don’t cry when you received the below fine of $300 notice. The below notice was issued to a member’s helper for gathering in a group of 10 at Kallang MRT open field. Well, good luck to her.”
