A 24-year-old man will be charged on 29 Aug 2020 for his suspected involvement of murdering his 26-year-old wife in Boon Lay.

The police were alerted on the 27 Aug 2020 at around 6.30 pm after a woman was found injured and motionless under the void deck of Block 211 Boon Lay Place. The woman was later sent to Ng Teng Fong hospital and was pronounced dead at 9.58 pm.
After investigations, the officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) managed to identify the suspect and arrested him within three hours after the incident was reported.
Investigations are ongoing.
According to the law, the man could face the death penalty or life imprisonment with caning if he is found guilty for his crime.
