2 HOUSEHOLD INVESTIGATED LINKING TO A FAMILY CLUSTER OF 5 CASES

According to the Ministry of Health, 2 households have been investigated after a family cluster of 5 cases were formed.

The 5 cases consist of 2 females and 3 males aged between 12 to 21. They were listed as the contacts of a 13-year-old boy who was classified as case 56627. Investigations are ongoing to determine if these individuals have violated any safe distancing rules.

The Ministry of Health takes a serious view on those who violated the rules and will not hesitate to take enforcement actions against them.

According to the Temporary COVID-19 Act, anyone caught gathering with more than 5 people at any one time could face a jail term up to 6 months, fine up to $10,000 or both.
