A video was uploaded of a blood trail that led up the HDB stairwell from the HDB void deck. The incident started most probably from the table at the void deck.

The incident happened at Block 511 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8. It was believed that a drunk man chopped his own leg which caused the excessive bleeding.
Some netizens posted the live video online and posted that the injured man’s leg was almost cut off. The police confirmed that a 56-year-old man was sent to the hospital for treatment in a sober state, and investigations are ongoing.
