MISSING WOMAN WHO WAS FOUND AT LITTLE GUILIN AFTER 3 DAYS, PURPORTEDLY FAKED OWN DISAPPEARANCE

The 22-year-old was reportedly discovered beside a path inside Little Guilin with her body covered with leaves, she was then taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

She told her mother that she only remembered walking along Bukit Batok East Avenue 5 when she felt like she was being “pulled forward” by someone.

She added that she doesn’t remember anything after that.

However, it has since emerged that Cai was staying with a friend during her “disappearance” to handle some personal matters, when her mother filed a missing person report and appealed for widespread help to find her.

Cai was purportedly afraid of being scolded by her family if they knew the truth so she made up this story of disappearing.

She allegedly injured herself on purpose with a fall before being sent to the hospital.

Her father told Lianhe Wanbao that he’s just glad that his daughter is back.

No crimes were involved in the case.
