According to a media release, a man has locked himself in his flat and threatened to commit suicide.

The incident happened on the morning of 11 Sep 2020 at around 7 am located at Block 113D McNair Road. The man believed to be in his sixties and has been living on his own in a unit on the 28th floor. Several police vehicles were spotted on the scene and the police anti-riot unit was activated.
The area has been sealed off and many residents had gathered to find out what is going on. Air cushion was set up to be on standby in case anything happens. The situation lasted for more than 6 hours and it is believed that the man alerted the police himself threatening to jump off the building.
