
A resident residing in Bedok reportedly smoked at his kitchen window and his upstairs neighbour protested against the secondhand smoke rising to her home bby pouring water on him.
The smoker, surnamed Zhou, said that this has happened four times in the last two months, leaving him with wet hands.
The first few times it happened, he thought his neighbour was washing her windows andn accidentally spilled some water on him.
Soon he realized that the water was aimed at him after he heard her yelling at him to stop smoking.
The neighbour, surnamed Yang, lives directly above Zhou’s home, and complained that the smell of the secondhand smoke lingers in her hoe until 1am or even 2am.
Zhou replied: “Is it any of her business that I smoke in my own house? Did I do anything wrong?”
