Singaporean climber found dead at mount kinabalu climbathon

Singaporean climber Mr woon tai kang was reported missing while training for the mount kinabalu climbathon on Saturday (1 October 2016).

His body was found in a 150 meter deep ravine near sayat-sayat which is the last checkpoint before climbers make their way up to the summit.

Park ranger Mr daikin anam said: “When we found him in the ravine, he was already dead.”
“He must have fallen and slipped down the ravine.”
