However, this might not be the case for some. A woman has recently shared her disappointment on social media in regards to this matter.

According to the woman, after learning the news, she had suggested to her future husband that they could increase the number of guests they want to invite for their wedding.

Unfortunately, her future husband does not want to. He even asked her future wife to keep the wedding grown cost to below $1,500 as he feels that there is no point of getting an expensive grown since not much people are attending their wedding.

The woman felt brought down by the request and wonder if she made the right choice to marry this man.

Full Story below:

“I’m having a scaled-down wedding with only about 40 guests. Told him we can now increase to 100 guests and since our wedding is still a few months away, we can try inviting more? He doesn’t want to, saying its too troublesome bleah bleah.

What’s more, he actually asked me to keep the wedding gown cost below 1.5k. His reason? Only so few guests don’t need to wear so nice, keep it simple can already.

How come I have this feeling he’s trying to put me down when its only 1 in a lifetime thing? Cannot he just give in to me? Starting to think I’m marrying a wrong guy”
