According to some patrons who were drinking after hours, the COVID-19 task force raided a pub at Boat Quay. The pub is located on the 2nd floor of “Bedok Ba Chor Mee.” along Circular road.
The drinking establishment had to signboard at the staircase entrance and it appears to be a rundown stair way without lights, until reaching level 2.
The customer who was enjoying their drinks had to call it a night after the plainclothes officer came in and foiled their “happy hour”.
A customer who was caught drinking within the premise shared that the incident happened on Friday night and enforcement officers came in quickly and took control of the illegal drinking spot.
The breaches involved social distancing, serving alcohol beyond 10.30 PM and having groups of more than 5, customers have seen intermingling with other tables in the premise.
The place has since been shut down since they were caught
