Health Minister Gan Kim Yong stated today (Oct 5) that there could be an ease of pandemic control measure which would include the 5 people limit for social gatherings. But that would only be possible if everyone can work together.

This ease would enable larger groups to meet and also allow bigger families or groups of friends to meet up or have meals together.
Mr Gan stated today (Oct 5): “We are particularly concerned about dining as we need to remove our masks so as to eat and drink, but we tend to also talk at the same time. The risk is considerably higher than activities which we can keep our masks on and maintain a safe distance.”
